European hoops fans were given some mouthwatering match-ups for the 2010 FIBA World Championship in the Czech Republic at Tuesday's draw for the event in Karlovy Vary.
EuroBasket winners France, runners-up Russia, bronze-medalists France, semi-finalists Belarus, fifth-place Greece and the Czech Republic discovered which teams they would go up again next year when the tournament is staged in Ostrava, Brno and Karlovy Vary.
France will have their title aspirations tested early on with a game against Olympic gold-medal winners Team USA in Group B.
Les Bleues made a stunning return to the EuroBasket Women podium in June after a dismal eighth-place finish in 2007.
Vincent's side will also go up against Greece, the side they edged 51-49 in the quarter-finals of the EuroBasket, and African champions Senegal.
Greece have EuroBasket MVP Evina Maltsi in their ranks, and she is already looking forward to putting on the Greece shirt again.
"We will try to go as far as possible," she said, before confirming that highly-rated Kostas Missas will still coach the team.
"Kostas Missas will be in charge for us and this was our deal right after the end of the European Championship in Latvia," she said to Basketball World News. "He is our maestro!"
Belarus have a tough schedule of games ahead after being drawn in Group A with defending champions Australia, Asian champions China and Americas bronze medalists Canada.
In Group D, the local fans will be treated to another clash with rivals Russia.
The Czechs fell to Russia in the gold-medal game of EuroBasket 2003 in Patras but avenged that setback two years later in Turkey when defeating the Russians in the European title game.
Also in Group D are FIBA Americas silver-medal winners Argentina and Asian bronze medalists Japan.
In Group C, the EuroBasket's bronze-medal winners Spain have been drawn to face rivals Brazil, Korea and Mali.
Groups A and B will be held in Ostrava while games in Groups C and D will be staged in Brno.
The rest of the tournament will take place in Karlovy Vary.
The FIBA World Championship for Women is being staged in the Czech Republic for the first time since 1967 when the former Czechoslovakia hosted the fifth edition of the event and captured a bronze medal.
Opening day is September 23, while the last day of action will be October 3.
