Paris Levallois emerged victorious from the weekend clash of EuroChallenge sides in the French Pro A, after beating BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque 97-83 at home.

The Parisians were off to a slow start but found their rhythm in the second quarter, scoring an eye-popping 32 points to take a 12-point lead.

They managed to keep BCM at arm's lenght until the end thanks mainly to a stellar performance by Jawad Williams who went 11-for-17 from the floor to collect 30 points, and added five rebounds and four assists.

On Saturday, Claude Marquis made a triumphant return to the Pro A with SLUC Nancy.

The former France international had 24 points and nine rebounds and his team-mate Marcellus Sommerville poured in 28 points to guide Nancy to a comfortable 90-72 home win over Limoges.

JDA Dijon meanwhile succumbed to a 78-65 loss at Lyon-Villeurbanne and remain penultimate in the standings.

Andre Harris had 12 points and five rebounds in a losing effort.

Following a two-week break for domestic cup action, the Belgian Ethias League resumed with a shock for Okapi Aalstar.

The league leaders suffered an 102-71 defeat at Belgacom Spirou, their second in the competition this season.

Okapi had a bad second quarter that forced them to go to the locker rooms with an 11-point deficit and collapsed completely in the third period, which they lost 32-13.

Derek Raivio and Ryan Thompson had 15 points apiece in defeat.

Despite the defeat, the Aalst team remains at the top of the Regular Season table with a 6-2 record.

The Ethias league also featured a battle of EuroChallenge teams this weekend that saw the home team prevailing.

Belfius Mons-Hainaut gave up only 21 points to Port of Antwerp Giants in the entire second half to claim a 66-57 win and retain second place in the standings.

Quincy Taylor paved the way for the hosts with 15 points and eight rebounds.

Center Adam Chubb sparked EWE Baskets with a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds

EWE Baskets Oldenburg survived a big scare on Saturday against Frankfurt Skyliners and managed to scrape a 63-61 win that lifts them to fourth place in the BEKO Bundesliga standings, albeit with two games in hand over Trier.

Adam Chubb fouled out and missed the dramatic finale but the 24 minutes he spent on the floor were enough for him to collect a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds.

On Sunday, Telekom Baskets Bonn were outscored 104-91 by Svetislav Pesic's Bayern in Munich and dropped to 11th place in the standings with a 5-6 record.

Bonn coach Michael Koch can however draw positives from Patrick Ewing Jr's showing, who finished the game with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Benas Veikalas added 16 points in a losing effort.

In spite of their success in EuroChallenge Group H, Hapoel Unet Holon have not managed to stop the rot in the Israeli league, falling 88-86 to Hapoel Tel Aviv in Sunday night action.

Holon have now lost five games in a row and dropped to ninth place in the standings.

Jerome Dyson had 30 points and five assists in a losing effort.
