Fenerbahce have turned their attention to Serbian playmaker Miljana Bojovic after persuading the point guard to leave Good Angels Kosice after five consecutive seasons in Slovak Republic.
Aside from a brief spell playing with Lotos Gdynia in 2010, Bojovic has dedicated a huge chunk of her career to the Slovakian champions and it has paid dividends.
For she has now established herself as a premier backcourt player in EuroLeague Women with a string of impressive campaigns.
Last season she averaged 8.4 points and 5.8 assists in the competition, having helped the team reach their first ever appearance at the Final Eight during 2013.
During the last three years in particular, Bojovic has witnessed her assists tally soar in the competition, finishing fourth, third and second last year in the category.
Earlier in her career, the 27-year-old played in EuroCup Women with four different teams including Rivas Ecopolis, UB Barcelona, BSE Esma Budapest and WBC Kimico Struga.
However, there promises to be an intense battle for court time in the backcourt next season, with Bojovic facing competition for minutes from Turkish national team trio Birsel Vardarli, Tugba Palazoglu and Olcay Cakir.
