| Yasemen Saylar has signed on for a seventh consecutive season with Galatasary |
Galatasaray are starting to put together their roster for the forthcoming season after adding WNBA center Kelsey Bone along with Turkish pair Esra Sencebe and Yasemin Saylar.
Bone will play her first season overseas in Istanbul after graduating from Texas A&M a few months ago.
Having been drafted fifth in the WNBA draft earlier this year, she is currently engaged in her first taste of pro-basketball action in the WNBA with New York Liberty.
She is averaging 6.6 points and 5.9 rebounds-per-game and will have a real challenge ahead of her when she arrives at Galatasaray, stepping into the shoes vacated by Sylvia Fowles and Ann Wauters, who played under the hoop last season.
Sencebe steps back across the Bosphorus again and returns to Galatasaray having played for arch rivals Fenerbahce last season. She previously played with Besiktas for two years and was with Galatasaray between 2008 and 2010.
The guard found court time in EuroLeague Women hard to find last season with Fenerbahce, although she did play a more prominent role in the Turkish League.
Saylar re-signs for what will be her seventh consecutive season with the club. The 22-year-old played a prominent role in EuroLeague Women last season during an injury crisis in the first few months, but then struggled to sustain her minutes thereafter.
