Turning Point: There wasn't one. UMMC flew into a double-digit lead inside four minutes at 12-2 en-route to racking up a rampant 30-6 first quarter and they had no cause to look back thereafter.

Stats Don't Lie: UMMC again shot around the 50% mark and destroyed Bourges on the boards 48-27. Their defence also contributed to their opponents shooting an eye-watering 28.9%
Game Heroes: Deanna Nolan, Sandrine Gruda and Diana Taurasi all stood out with a combined 44 points after each shooting over 62.5%.

EuroLeague Women title holders UMMC Ekaterinburg produced another awesome display of prowess and power to complete a one-sided 83-42 victory against Tango Bourges and become the first team to reach the Final Eight semi-finals.

Right from the tip-off, UMMC were intent on showing their class and also extracting revenge for a regular season loss - a fact confirmed by Deanna Nolan who contributed 14 points.

She said, "It was one of those games we had to be focused for because we owed them one.

"We were determined to be ready and to come out with all guns blazing."

They certainly did that. The holders overran Bourges in every department, with the French champions caught in a first-half whirlwind which put the home side 49-15 in front and way, way out of sight.

Bourges steadied the ship after benefitting from the safe haven and brief respite of the locker room with an improved second-half, but they still couldn't fully stem the tide as UMMC cruised.

There was an added complication for the losing team after returnee Johannah Leedham was lost to injury early in the contest, something Celine Dumerc bemoaned afterwards.

"It was difficult for us to express ourselves and once again whave lost a player which is bad news for us for the future," said the guard.

"We missed a lot of shots because of their defence and while it is always special for me to return to Ekaterinburg, I think tonight is one where I might have preferred to have played for my former team."
