| 13 January 2012 EUROLEAGUE WOMEN Rivas Ecopolis opened the New Year with an impressive 82-63 win over visiting BLMA, implying they now have the assets together for a successful run into the play-offs. While both Tijana Krivacevic and Sandra Pirsic had successful debuts, it was Asjha Jones who shone on that night with an extraordinary index rating of 39. The post player scored 31 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and seemed almost unstoppable for a BLMA front-court packed with quality players. Jones made 13 of her 21 attempts form the field and stayed perfect on her five free throws. Jones won Week 11 MVP honours ahead of Diana Taurasi, who had 21 points at half-time but played only little in the second half to finish with 28 points and an index rating of 32.
