Italian champions Beretta Famila Schio had little trouble completing an 87-49 demolition of struggling HAT-Agro Uni Gyor to lift themselves into second place in EuroLeague Women Group A.

The home side pummelled the Hungarians right from the tip-off to take a fifth success of the campaign and condemn their still winless opponent to their eighth defeat of the season.

Schio were up by double digits in a little over five minutes and by the end of the first quarter, had powered their way into a 24-8 lead.

It was a relentless onslaught by Miguel Mendez and his players, who eventually hit the locker rooms with a mammoth 49-18 advantage at the break and with the win more or less wrapped up.

With the one-way traffic continuing when the action resumed, Schio showed no mercy and continued with their foot on the gas to cruise to their biggest win to date.

Schio guard Courtney Vandersloot played against the club she played for during the first half of the season, whilst Italian veteran Laura Macchi moved through the 1,500-point landmark in the competition after scoring 11 points.

Milica Ivanovic had 10 points, five rebounds and two steals for Gyor.
