Rivas Ecopolis have continued to put more pieces in place for next year's roster, after making a double signing over the weekend with the addition of Swedish scoring machine Frida Eldebrink and Spanish rising star Laura Gil.

ELDEBRINK BRINGS FIREPOWER TO SPAIN
Shooting guard Eldebrink will carry the main hopes of Sweden at the forthcoming EuroBasket Women tournament and is likely to become a reference player for Rivas in 2013-14, after making the switch from Bourges Basket.
Her season in the French League was ended prematurely after she required surgery on a wrist injury, but the 25-year-old is nearing full fitness again after playing in several preparation games with the national team.
And, she will have been able to find out enough about playing for Rivas from her twin sister Elin, who played with the Spanish side back during the 2009-10 campaign.
Eldebrink top scored in the EuroBasket Women Qualification Round last summer and averaged 12.6 points per game in EuroLeague Women before her season was cut short.
FAMILIAR FACES FOR MEDAL-MAGNET
Laura Gil could also feature at EuroBasket Women if she is given the green light by Spanish national team head coach Lucas Mondelo, who has her in his squad of 14 which means only two more players being left out of the final roster.
Both Mondelo and recently appointed Rivas play-caller Jose Hernandez have coached the 21-year-old center at youth level, where she had won a host of medals. Indeed she is the most decorated women's player in Spanish basketball, with a staggering nine medals at youth level.
During her career, she has finished on the podium alongside new Rivas team-mates Queralt Casas and Vega Gimeno.
The Murcia native played for Beroil Burgos last season and averaged 10.8 points and 6.1 points per game.
GODIN REMAINS WITH SCHIO
Having decided to skip EuroBasket Women this summer and not take her place in the line-up for the tournament favourites and hosts, France, center Elodie Godin will be suiting up for Famila Schio again next season.
It will be her sixth straight year in the Italian League, since the 27-year-old played for Cras Basket Taranto for four campaigns prior to making the move to Schio last summer.
She averaged 4.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game in EuroLeague Women last season and played for the French national team in the Olympic Final in London last year.
