|Anke De Mondt brings championship-winning experience to Kayseri|
EuroLeague Women newcomers Kayseri Kaski spor have started preparations for their first ever season in the competition by acquiring the services of Belgian veteran and former champion Anke De Mondt.
The shooting guard has spent the last two seasons with Wisla Can-Pack, where she originally signed off the back of a title winning season with Halcon Avenida.
The 33-year-old should add a potent threat from the perimeter, as well as adding plenty of experience, in what is likely to be a challenging rookie campaign for the Turkish club who have been pitched into a very tough-looking Group A.
The signing of De Mondt was part of a triple transaction by club bosses, who also inked deals with Turkish duo Bengu Arseven and Gamze Takmaz.
The former knows Kayseri well, and returns having previously played for the club. She spent last season in the second tier of Turkish basketball with Altay Konak where she averaged 11.4 points 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists-per-game.
The latter will step up from EuroCup Women, where she has played a number of seasons for Adana Botas. The 22-year-old wing player also produced some strong performances for Turkey at youth level.
