Wauters, Hollingsworth Share Week 2 MVP

EUROLEAGUE WOMEN

Ann Wauters of Ros Casares Valencia and Quanitra Hollingsworth of Uni Seat Gyor shared the honour of being named the EuroLeague Women Week 2 MVP.

The two players registered double-doubles in points and rebounds and reached an identical efficiency index rating of 34.

The Belgian international scored 24 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and made three steals in Ros Casares's easy win over VICI Aistes on Wednesday night.

The American forward matched that spectacular performance the following night, with 23 points and 15 rebounds in Gyor's overtime win over Lotos Gdynia.

Both MVP winners dished out two assists and blocked one shot and, to further highlight just how close this week's race was, Elodie Godin was just one step behind them, with a rating of 33.
