A pair of top-class contributions from Jelena Dubljevic and Eva Viteckova enabled ZVVZ USK Prague to yet another win and confirm top spot in EuroLeague Women Group C courtesy of a 76-58 defeat of Perfumerias Avenida.
The Montenegrin forward and Czech veteran shared 43 points and shot the lights out as the home side turned around a half-time deficit to storm to victory.
The win also extracted revenge for their loss earlier in the competition to the Spanish side, when they were narrowly beaten in Salamanca.
Both teams struggled to make any kind of significant run during the first two quarters, although when Tamara Abalde put Avenida 38-32 in front just before the break, it looked like the visitors may have made a decisive move.
But, Dubljevic had other ideas and gave the hosts some impetus for when they came back out of the locker rooms, after completing an ‘and-1' play to wrap up the first-half scoring.
Whatever Natalia Hejkova said to her players during the interval certainly worked and Prague gradually began to grow in stature and once they eventually got their noses in front, they never looked back.
A 9-0 run midway through the third quarter changed the entire complexion of the game and the margin grew for the remainder of the contest as Avenida failed to respond or recover.
Laia Palau had a rotten shooting-night, but handed out eight assists for Prague, with Abalde producing her best effort of the season for Avenida with 16 points.
