Hungarian champions UE Sopron have swooped to sign Croatian playmaker Iva Ciglar and Nadezhda Orenburg have given Glory Johnson the green light to step out in EuroLeague Women.

Croatian national team guard Iva Ciglar has been playing with WBC Novi Zagreb since the start of the season, but has made a switch to Hungary - a country she knows well from earlier stints of her career.

She will now suit up for Uniqa EuroLeasing Sopron which will be her third Hungarian club, having played previously with HAT-AGRO Uni Gyor and Szeviep Szeged.

Ciglar has averaged 6.8 points per game for Novi Zagreb in EuroLeague Women so far this season and has been a core player with almost 26 minutes per game of court time.

Meanwhile in Orenburg, there will soon be a EuroLeague Women debut for American frontcourt star Glory Johnson who has been given the nod to help Nadezhda save their season and make it to the play-offs.

Nadezhda have lost four of their five games so far, but won last week against UE Sopron as new play-caller George Dikeoulakos settles into the hot-seat.

Johnson is being registered as the clubs' second non-European player alongside DeWanna Bonner, with her namesake Temeka Johnson having previously been on the roster for the competition.

The forward showed her quality in a spectacular debut EuroCup campaign with Chevakata last season, when she averaged a fantastic 18.5 points and 13.2 rebounds per game.
