| 26.10.2012 EUROLEAGUE WOMEN In the opening week of the 2012/13 EuroLeague Women season, a total of five new clubs and numerous new faces took the floor in the EuroLeague Women. It was one of the well-known players however, who stood out most in terms of statistical production. Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje forward Candice Dupree filled the scoresheet in her team's opening win over Turkish newcomers Tarsus Belediye Spor. She had 26 points, converting 10 of her 18 shots in 33 minutes, knocked down six of seven free throws while also pulling down eight rebounds. Dupree also handed out three assists and picked up three steals to go with her blocked shot. With an accumulated efficiency rating of 28 she grabbed Week 1 MVP honours, outclassing the duo of Dewanna Bonner and Tereza Peckova who both had 24.
