BASKETBALL IN EUROPE
| Tina Charles and Galatasaray failed to reach the final in their home Final Eight in Instanbul|
Wisla Can-Pack Krakow may have lost Ewelina Kobryn to UMMC Ekaterinburg but the club won't be short of firepower in the low post next season.
The Polish champions have signed USA international Tina Charles and Hungary national team pivot Dora Horti.
Charles, just under three months away from playing at her first Olympic games with the United States, is joining Wisla from Galatasaray.
After spending her first season in Europe with Nadezhda Orenburg, Charles moved to Istanbul and averaged 18.7 points and 8.9 rebounds in 2011-2012 for Gala.
The 1.93m center had double-doubles in points (21 and 19) and rebounds (10 and 12) in her first two games at the EuroLeague Women Final Eight at the end of March but Gala lost both to Rivas Ecopolis and Fenerbahce.
Horti, a 1.93m center, poured in 10.1 points and corralled 6.9 rebounds for UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron this season.
Adair Leaves Turkey For Perfumerias
Perfumerias Avenida have bolstered their line-up with American star Jessica Adair for next season.
Adair, a WNBA title winner with Minnesota last season, will join the Salamanca outfit which recently announced the departure of Dewanna Bonner.
A 1.93m center, Adair spent this season with Tarsus Belediyesiha in the Turkish league and was a real handful for opponents, averaging 12.9 points and 8.2 rebounds.
"She is a player who is only great now but has a magnificent future," Perfumerias said on their website.
