Tina Charles has Nadezhda flying high these days. The Russian club clinched a spot in the Play-Offs of EuroLeague Women despite a loss against Italian powerhouse Beretta-Famila Schio. The 1.93m Center is leading her team with a double-double of 19 points and 12.6 rebounds on average. The reigning World Champion with the United States could not avoid the setback to Schio but shone once more with a brilliant performance. Largely due to her 25 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks, Nadezhda kept the game wide open for 35 minutes. Her stats accumulated for a week best efficiency of 31, one better than Rivas Ecopolis star Dewanna Bonner who had 30 and also ahead of the duo of Sandra Mandir and Candice Dupree who finished with 28. The award comes at the right time, as Charles is currently leading the league in double-doubles and can be found among the top ten in 12 statistical categories.
