|Sandrine Gruda led the way for UMMC Ekaterinburg with 20 points and six rebounds|
Unbeaten UMMC Ekaterinburg continue to roll without too many problems in EuroLeague Women Group C with their latest win coming against USO Mondeville who were routed 82-55 on their home floor by the Russian powerhouse.
Ekaterinburg showcased their depth and class as they dominated their host in ruthless fashion all over the court - with the exception of the second quarter.
They laid down the law very early with a spellbinding 16-3 opening which left USO Mondeville stuttering on the starting line.
Although to their credit, Herve Coudray and his players proceeded to show real spirit during the second period as they outscored their illustrious opponent 19-17.
That reduced the arrears to single digits heading into the second half, but realistically, it always looked to be a case of how many points Ekat would win by, rather than whether they would win at all.
And, with Silvia Dominguez pulling the strings to super effect and ending up with 10 assists, the forwards revelled in the paint and particularly Candace Parker and Sandrine Gruda.
Parker corralled a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds, whilst Gruda top-scored with 20 points as Ekat dominated the second half to coast to the win.
Naignouma Coulibay enhanced her burgeoning reputation in the competition with a solid 10 points and seven rebounds in defeat.
