EUROLEAGUE WOMEN

20. Sancho Lyttle (Ros Casares)
Galatasaray have never hidden their EuroLeague Women title aspirations and they have signed players who've been there and done that - in Sancho Lyttle's case, twice in a row

LYTTLE SWITCHES TO GALA

Two-time EuroLeague Women champion Sancho Lyttle has signed for Galatasaray, the club has announced.

The Spain international played vital roles for the title-winning sides of Perfumerias Avenida in 2010-11 and Ros Casares in 2011-12.

At the Final Eight this season, Lyttle, a 1.90m forward, was vital for Ros Casares.

She had nine points and nine rebounds in the opening victory over UMMC Ekaterinburg while in the Final against Rivas Ecopolis, she finished with 18 points and six boards.

Lyttle shot 51.7% from the floor and averaged 12.8 points and 7.4 rebounds in the 2011/12 EuroLeague Women season.

The Spain international has followed in the footsteps of her former Ros Casares teammate, Ann Wauters.

The Turkish giants announced at the start of May that they had signed the Belgian center.

TARGOVISTE SIGNING FEVER

According to media reports in Romania, EuroLeague Women newcomers Municipal Targoviste will have Florina Pascalau, Gabriella Marginean and Ancuta Stoenescu for the coming season.

Among the others to join Targoviste are Latvia international Elina Babkina, who played for Fenerbahce last season.

Targoviste will play in Group B with UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron, Famila Schio, Fenerbahce, Nadezhda, Good Angels Kosice and Arras.

GODIN TO SCHIO

Elodie Godin has been a thorn in the side of Famila Schio the past four years as a member of Cras Basket Taranto.

Having helped Taranto capture the Italian title in 2011-12, the power forward has decided to join the Schio.

General Manager Paolo De Angelis says Godin, who is about to make her Olympic bow in London with France's national team, is an ideal fit for the team.

"Our choice was dictated by tactical requirements expressed by the technical staff and respecting the perspective of cost containment in a period which, as everyone knows, is certainly not easy," he said.
