Having not yet played at a major tournament, time is very much on the side of 20-year-old Alena Hanusova who has shown the kind of promise through the youth categories and also at club level that indicate she can be part of the future for the senior team. While maybe a little smaller than some of her opponents, Hanusova has good skills and some effective post moves with her back to the basket. She can also drift away from the basket and make jump-shots as well as competing on the boards. She won a couple of bronze medals at youth level and has just completed a second full season of EuroLeague Women with Frisco Sika Brno.
