Only three weeks after the game between Good Angels Kosice and UMMC Ekaterinburg in Steel Arena in Kosice set a regular season attendance record, the Kosice crowds gathered for another record-breaking occasion.

A near sell-out crowd of 8,597 saw the hosts go down 77-61 to Bourges Basket.

The game not only improved the regular season record set in November, but also broke the previous overall EuroLeague Women record held by the Istanbul derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce during the Final Eight 2012.

The game now ranks third overall for Women's basketball games in Europe, behind this year's EuroCup Women Final in Kayseri and the EuroBasket Women 2009 quarter-final between hosts Latvia and Russia.

The Good Angels have a good tradition of organising games in front of big crowds, dating back to 2007, when they hosted Sparta&K Moscow Region Vidnoje in front of more than 7,000 spectators.

Unfortunately for the hosts, they are yet to win one of the big games, also going down against Bourges.
