SOPRON FORCE FIFTH GAME

UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron won Game 4 of their Hungary play-off showdown with Uni Seat Gyor, 83-76.

The result has set up a title decider in Sopron on Sunday.

NICHOLLS EXTENDS RIVAS STAY

Rivas Ecopolis have made their most important signing of the close season by reached agreement with rising star Laura Nicholls on a new three-year contract.

The 1.89m center, a Spanish international, averaged 7.6 points and 6.5 rebounds for Rivas, the surprise package of the EuroLeague Women.

At the Final Eight, where Rivas reached the title game, Nicholls had nine points and six rebounds in an upset of hosts Galatasaray and next had 10 rebounds to go with her five points in a victory over Beretta-Famila Schio.

The 23-year-old had seven boards to go with six points in an upset of Fenerbahce, and seven points with one rebounds in the title game defeat to Ros Casares.

Nicholls will be pivotal for Spain this summer when they attempt to reach EuroBasket 2013.

She won bronze medals with Spain at EuroBasket 2009 and the 2010 World Championship in the Czech Republic.
