ZVVZ USK Prague claimed a precious 63-58 win in Istanbul to complete a double over Galatasaray odeabank and regain top spot in EuroLeague Women Group C.

Leading scorer Jelena Dubljevic plundered another 22 points for Prague and scored the basket which made the game safe during the dying seconds as the visitors inflicted more woe on their hosts.

The wheels are suddenly threatening to come off for Galatasaray head-coach Ekrem Memnun, who presided over a third defeat in four games.

It looked like the Turkish giants would have a good chance of getting back on track during the opening exchanges after they produced a smooth 20-16 opening.

Even when Prague fought back to take the lead, Galatasaray still found themselves with a 40-39 advantage in the third quarter of a tense but intriguing match-up.

However, they lost their foothold in the game as Prague posted a 13-4 run either side of the third and fourth quarter break to jump out in front, a place they managed to stay until the final buzzer.

Both teams missed too many triple attempts and free-throws, but with Prague able to utilise the 18-point Kia Vaughn haul alongside Dubljevic, the Czechs had the two difference-makers.

Shavonte Zellous set up a nail-biting conclusion when she scored to cut the gap to 60-58 with 13 seconds left, but a free-throw by Danielle Robinson and a critical steal by Laia Palau to set up the decisive score for Dubljevic won the contest.

Sancho Lyttle registered 16 points and eight rebounds for Galatasaray.
