Another week's blog entry is here!!! I hope you are as excited as I am. This entry will be a little bit different from the previous ones.
I will not talk about basketball (maybe because we lost last week ☹). Rather than that, I would like you to get to know me a little bit better as a regular person.
I love all sorts of cultural events, and thank God, Prague offers a bunch of variety of them. So I never get bored ☺
Just this Saturday, I and my friend went to see an exhibition of Orchids in the local botanical garden. It was so nice to see them in all different colours, sizes and shapes.
One can immediately realize how rich and smart is our Mother Nature. We had our cameras with us so we took some pictures of those lovely blooming flowers. We were glad they kept the beautiful treasures inside of the building because outside they would not be able to survive.
Even though it was sunny on Saturday, the temperature in Prague was around 2-4 degrees Celsius. At least seeing the exotic flower brought some warm blood into our bodies ☺
This Monday we went to see a Moscow ballet which had one performance in Prague. It was Romeo and Juliet and I have to admit that I could not take my eyes off the stage. It was my first ballet performance which I went to see as an adult.
I saw some when I was younger but never really enjoyed it. This time it was different! And although some of the people did not share the excitement with me (for example the guy behind us who started snoring after 20 minutes) I was amazed how the ballerinas were jumping and twirling.
It was nice how "easy" it is to express the plot of the story without any words needed. Just dance and music, nothing else.
So let explore yourself. Open your mind to new opportunities and broaden your horizons.
Before Christmas there are many opportunities to do something as fun as I did. I know you are probably a sports fans and love to see us (players) perform in the gyms but maybe even you will realize that u can enjoy some cultural events which you did not enjoy when you were younger.
Good luck with exploring and see you next week,
