Team 2012-13: Dynamo Kursk (Russia-Premier League) Career: Rutgers (USA-NCAA, 2006-09), Botas Spor (Turkey-TKBL, 2009-10), Chicago Sky (USA-WNBA 2010), Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje (Russia-Premier League, 2010-11), Galatasaray (Turkey-TKBL, 2011-12), Dynamo Kursk (Russia-Premier League, 2012-13) Prince has just completed a first season with Dynamo Kursk where she played for Coach Vainauskas and that is likely to be the stimulus to pick up the mantle of being Russia's naturalised player. Hailing from Brookyln, the guard is a star on both sides of The Pond after pouring in over 18 points-per-game last summer in the WNBA for Chicago Sky and her former coach at Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje, Pokey Chatman. Her combo capabilities are important although more than anything else, it is her scoring potency from whatever position she is playing which will excite. She has also played for Galatasaray and Botas Spor in the Turkish League. If she does make her debut for Russia, she is likely to be a leading candidate to finish as top scorer in France. Watch out for her capacity to claim plenty of rebounds too. |
