Laura Nicholls employs an aggressive approach to the game and it is one that has served her well so far and especially on the boards, something which led to her leading the league in rebounding during her first pro-season. Growing up as one of the golden 1989 generation alongside the likes of Alba Torrens, Nicholls has also found a winners medal at pro-level after winning the Copa De La Reina with Rivas Ecopolis. She played plenty of minutes at EuroBasket Women 2009, and while she didn't play quite as much at the FIBA World Championship Women last summer, there is little doubt her rebounding prowess and ability to look after the ball as carefully as you could ever expect from a young player means she will feature again. Still a great prospect who is learning and maturing with every game, she is likely to cement her place in the National Team and increase her influence in future years.
