It's more than ten years since the center was thrown into action for her country at the 2002 FIBA World Championships in China and she has been a regular for the most part since that debut. The early part of her career involved having to deal with the pressure of expectation and somehow trying to live up to the hype around her when she was a teenage talent tipped for the very top. Since then, she has established herself into a reliable center who is unselfish and works hard at both ends of the court in the paint. She actually posted some of her best numbers during her previous appearance at EuroBasket Women in Poland two years ago and will be hoping to get the chance to shine once again. She has played in EuroLeague Women for the last couple of years with Perfumerias Avenida, one of them under national team boss Lucas Mondelo.
