After her glittering college career, which included an NCAA Championship, Doron hasn't disappointed by producing the goods both for the National Team and at club level. She became the first Israeli player to step out in the WNBA and has since played in both EuroCup Women and EuroLeague Women, managing to grab an All Star spot in the latter during 2009 while she was also an All Star in the Turkish League. Always an offensive threat and very much a natural scorer, she has just finished the season in the top ten of EuroCup Women for points per game to follow on from her great form last summer during the Qualifying Round when she was the third top scorer in the competition. Often working in tandem with Liron Cohen, she is one half of an often lethal combination that other teams will try and lock down in games. That will certainly take some doing since she has been pouring in the points since almost the moment she first broke into the National Team. Doron averaged over 18 points per game in Latvia at EuroBasket 2009 and won't be shy about taking a sizeable chunk of the shots once again. She was also one of the main performers in helping club team Elitzur Ramla to EuroCup Women glory earlier this year. |
