One of the most productive players in French basketball, Mistie Bass will finally get the chance to play in EuroLeague Women after inking a two-year deal with Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration.

After lengthy negotiations, the 31-year-old agreed terms with the newly crowned French champions and is looking forward to continuing her adventure in the country, having played for two seasons with Lyon and two years with Challes-les-Eaux prior to that.

"This team is simply one of the best in France," declared the forward who averaged a sparkling 16.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game last season.

"It is a candidate for the title (again) and the club will play in EuroLeague Women.

"I am ready to meet these new challenges and BLMA was the best choice for me.

"I love France. It is a beautiful country with an amazing history and culture. It is the country that I prefer and I can't imagine playing anywhere else

She added, "On a personal level, I just want to stay one of the best players in the league.

"But I will be even more focused on the team's goal, because it is time for me to add a championship to my resume!

"This will be the objective of the club and it will be the number one goal of the season for me."

The Duke graduate is currently playing stateside with Phoenix Mercury - her fourth WNBA club and has also played in Israel and Turkey as well as in France.
