Parker Claims Final Eight MVP Honours

 Candace Parker capped off a perfect week by being named EuroLeague Women Final Eight MVP

UMMC Ekaterinburg star Candace Parker was voted MVP of the EuroLeague Women Final Eight to cap off a wonderful season and arguably the best of her career in the competition.

The forward, who has been in terrific form right from the start of the campaign, had promised to deliver the goods ahead of the tournament having been given the nod by the champions in favour of fellow star Sue Bird.

Building on her fantastic regular season, she confirmed her status as one of the best players in the world by grabbing her first ever EuroLeague Women title with 24 points and 11 rebounds in the 82-56 Final win against Fenerbahce.

Parker has averaged a double-double of 16.9 points and 10.4 rebounds during the 2012-13 season and incredibly, has racked up a double-digit score in the last 13 consecutive EuroLeague Women games.
