|Back in action for Galatasaray and immediately good for 14 points and 9 rebounds: Sancho Lyttle|
Kibirkstis-VICI Vilnius suffered a fourth straight defeat in EuroLeague Women Group C after being routed on their home floor 90-39 by a rampant Galatasaray odeabank.
The hosts were outclassed in every department by their illustrious visitors, whose strength in depth was further enhanced by the belated return from injury of EuroBasket Women MVP, Sancho Lyttle.
Galatasaray hit top gear early and stormed their way into a 25-11 first quarter lead, with the one-way traffic continuing up until half-time.
The visitors then went into overdrive when they returned for the second-half, obliterating Kibirkstis at both ends of the court.
They restricted the Lithuanians to a meagre four points during the third period, whilst pouring in 24 at the other end to completely dominate.
A similar pattern followed during the final ten minutes, with Galatasaray showing no mercy and piling on the agony to both secure a fifth win in six games and consolidate second spot in the Group.
Alba Torrens and Shavonte Zellous each scored 17 points and shot over 70% from the field, whilst Nevriye Yilmaz added seven assists to her 16 points.
Lyttle meanwhile was just one rebound short of racking up a double-double on her return to action.
Rima Valentiene was the only Kibirkstis player to make it to double-digits with 10 points.
