Bourges Basket moved to 4-1 in Group A of EuroLeague Women as they eased away to beat Uni Gyor 57-47. The visitors enjoyed the lead for much of the early going, but once Bourges had grasped it late in the second quarter, they moved through the gears to win it fairly convincingly. A 10-1 spurt turned the game in Bourges' favour late in the first half. Baskets from Endene Miyem, Emmeline Ndongue and Frida Eldebrink put them 27-24 up with 2:37 left in the first half, and Miyem then hit back-to-back jump shots before the buzzer to make it 31-25. Celine Dumerc hit a three-pointer that moved the lead into double figures with 6:32 left as they went 51-39 up and the lead reached 55-40 on Miyem's lay-up with a little over five minutes left. That was enough to win it on a night where neither team shot better than 35%. Ndongue and Miyem had 16 points and eight rebounds each for Bourges. Chalysa Shegog had 11 and Nora Nagy-Bujdoso 10 for the visitors. |
