EUROLEAGUE WOMENA sensational third quarter and some typically deadly three-point shooting by Diana Taurasi helped UMMC Ekaterinburg recover from a 14 point deficit to take a 78-71 victory at still winless ZVVZ USK Prague.
But, it had looked like new head coach Natalia Hejkova might just have brought the Midas touch to the beleagured hosts when coinciding with the return to fitness of powerhouse Rebekkah Brunson, Prague found themselves 38-24 ahead in the second quarter.

The Czech outfit outscored their opponent 21-4 during a breathtaking spell but to their cost, they then went scoreless during the last three minutes of the half as Ekat rattled off seven consecutive points to give them a platform to build on when they returned to the floor.
Unfortunately for the home fans, Prague left their defence in the locker room and gave up an eye-watering 30 points during the third quarter as Ekaterinburg turned the game on its' head.
Taurasi hit her fourth triple of the game as the tournament favourites went into the lead at 48-45, and from there it looked like being only one winner as they extended their advantage to 71-56 after a free-throw by Ewelina Kobryn.
Prague tried to launch a revival during the fourth quarter and cut the gap to just five points inside the last minute, but couldn't prevent slumping to a third loss in as many games.
Taurasi finished with 24 points whilst Jelena Dubljevic had an efficient 16 points for the losing team.
