|Jantel Lavender is leaving Famila Schio to play in Poland for Wisla Can-Pack for next season|
Polish heavyweights Wisla Can-Pack have added another trio of names to their roster, with American center Jantel Lavender headlining the latest players to commit to the Krakow club.
Having already confirmed six players for the 2013-14 season, the arrival of Lavender is also complimented by the return of backcourt pair Erin Phillps and Paulina Pawlak.
With the club having openly admitted Tina Charles would not be returning, they were in the market for another dominant pivot and Lavender seems to fit the bill after a fruitful rookie season in the competition with Italian champions Famila Schio.
She finished the third highest scorer in EuroLeague Women with 18.4 points-per-game and an impressive shooting percentage of 53%.
But, it wasn't only her offence which caught the eye, as she also did the dirty work on the glass, with 8.6 rebounds-per-game - the fourth best in the competition.
All-action Australian guard Phillips is currently with WNBA defending champions Indiana Fever and whilst she recently underwent minor surgery to address a torn right meniscus, she will be back on court soon before linking up with Wisla at the end of the summer.
She re-joined the club last season in a bid to boost their chances of success domestically, but wasn't able to lend a helping hand in EuroLeague Women due to eligibility rules.
The reliable Pawlak will continue to offer her organisational skills from point-guard for a fifth year, having suffered from some injuries at the end of last season.
The trio join new arrivals Alexandria Quigley and Zane Tamane, as well as Cristina Ouvina, Katarzyna Krezel and Justyna Zurowska who were all handed contract extensions recently.
