|Laura Nicholls is one of two new signings for Kayseri Kaski spor |
Kayseri Kaski spor are already building for next season after inking contracts with Spanish national team forward Laura Nicholls and BK Imos Brno guard, Ivana Jalcova.
Nicholls has been the standout player for Rivas Ecopolis both in EuroLeague Women where she corralled 14 points and 8.6 rebounds per game and also in Liga Femenina, where she was the driving force behind a historic first Championship success.
However, after three seasons playing with Rivas, she will now embark on her first club season outside of her homeland.
She will also get a taste of treading the hardwood in Turkey prior to tipping off her career in the TKBL by representing Spain at the FIBA World Championship for Women in Ankara and Istanbul.
Joining Nicholls will be Slovakian guard Jalcova who has played for four Euroleague Women clubs so far during her career. She has played Lotos Gdynia, Good Angels Kosice and Beretta Famila Schio as well as Brno.
The 30-year-old, who has decided against representing her country in the forthcoming EuroBasket Women 2015 2nd Qualifying Round, averaged 7.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in EuroLeague Women last season.
Both players have reportedly signed for one year, with an option to extend for a second season.
Kayseri recently finished third in the Turkish League and made it to the Final Eight during their rookie EuroLeague Women campaign.
