| 09.12.2011 EUROLEAGUE WOMEN Quanitra Hollingsworth of Uni Seat Györ was named MVP of the EuroLeague Women Week 9, with an index rating of 30. The American center had a stunning performance scoring 18 points and pulling down 17 rebounds in her team's road victory in Gdynia, including 14 defensive boards - a record this season. She ranks first in defensive rebounds per game (7.9) in the competition. Hollingsworth, who has scored in double figures in all but one of her games so far this season, is not completely stranger to MVP of the Week status as she shared the honours with Ros Casares' Ann Wauters, on Week 2. The American player's rating was a mere point better than that of Megan Mahoney (Cras Basket Taranto) and Erin Phillips (Wisla Can-Pack) who tied for 2nd. Another Uni Seat Györ player, the talented Hungarian Rita Rasheed, tied for 4th with Galatasaray's Tina Charles. EuroLeague Women Week 9 Efficiency Index - Top 15 |
