An unstoppable Courdon Higgins steered Triumph Lyubertsy to safety through the roller-coaster ride that was their clash with Gaz Metan Medias and ended up as the EuroChallenge Week 3 Top Statistical Performer.
Higgins registered an efficiency index rating of 36, the highest recorded this season, for Triumph to prevail 84-81 over their hosts in overtime on Wednesday night in Romania.
The explosive 24-year-old guard converted 12 of his 21 shot attempts from the floor, including three-of-five from beyond the three-point arc, and finished with a season-high 35 points.
To round-up his brilliant offensive display, Higgins also grabbed six rebounds, dished out two assists, blocked two shots and, notably, he only committed one turnover during the 41 minutes he spent on the floor in Wednesday's overtime thriller.
Zarko Rakocevic of Inkognito Fashion Körmend also led his team to victory following overtime this week, and reached an efficiency rating of 32 in the process.
The Montenegrin big man collected a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds on Tuesday and paved the way to Körmend's 103-99 success over BC Kyiv at home.
