Serbia Hit Road To Get Ready For U18 European Championship

Vlada Jovanovic is the man of the moment in Serbia.

Appointed as the new coach of Partizan Belgrade this week, Jovanovic will be putting most of his energy now into getting Serbia ready for the U18 European Championship in Vilnius.

That event gets underway on July 22 and runs until August 1, with the Serbians in Group D with Germany, Croatia and Greece.

Serbia will have a warm-up tournament (July 2-4) in Cisternino, Italy, and then travel to Athens for two friendly games against the Greeks (July 6-7).

On July 2 in Cisternino, the Serbians will square off against Germany, followed by games against Poland and the Italians.

Jovanovic and Co will then go to Greece.

Serbia 14-man touring squad: Luka Igrutinović, Petar Lambić (both Hemofarm), Marko Gujaničić (Mladost, Čačak), Bogdan Bogdanović (Žitko basket), Vukašin Petković, Bogić Vujošević, Radoš Šešlija, Božo Đumić (all Novi Sad), Nemanja Bešović, Marko Jošilo (both Partizan), Marko Luković (Mega Vizura), Nikola Silađi (FMP), Stefan Nastić (Kanada) and Đorđe Drenovac (Austrija).
