|Finland celebrating their victory over Greece and top spot in Qualifying Round Group F|
Croatia and Finland remained the only unbeaten teams after day six, to top the two groups of the Qualifying Round at the Pannergy U18 European Championship Women, Division B.
In Group E, the Croatians handed the first defeat to Belarus, 64-58, after yet another brilliant game of Ivana Tikvic.
The 17-year-old center from Zagreb posted her third double-double in a row, and her fourth in the tournament with 14 points and 13 rebounds. None less than eight of the boards were on the offensive end.
She added to her game also three blocks, to confirm her place at the top of this statistical category.
Ruzica Dzankic contributed with 12 points and eight rebounds while Anja Majstorovic added 13 points and five rebounds.
Belarus trailed by 14 points before the final period and never had the chance to climb back into the game.
Maryna Ivaschanka led the team with 10 points and three rebounds.
In another game of the group, Portugal held off Germany, 63-57, in a do-or-die battle for the Quarter-Finals.
The Portuguese dominated the game, but the opponent's comeback gave them some scary moments in the last minutes.
Germany cut the gap to three points twice during the final minute of the game.
However, Jessica Almeida scored six of her eight free throws in that span to secure the victory for Portugal. She finished with a team best 20 points, while Joana Jesus added 18 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
Laura Hebecker was Germany's shining star with 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals.
In the last game of the day, Hungary left Bulgaria with no wins in the Qualifying Round, after beating them 66-57.
In Group F, Finland stayed perfect with a win against Greece, 58-46, behind an excellent defense that forced the losing side to 25 turnovers.
Annete Juvonen had 22 points for the winners while Artemis Spanou finished with 16 points and nine rebounds in a losing effort.
Israel didn't miss the opportunity to take their fate into their own hands and won 76-58 with Norway, leaving no hopes to Denmark regarding a possible qualification in the Quarter-Finals.
However, the Nordics didn't even win their last game, they fell to Latvia 76-68.
Croatia will play Israel, Finland will meet Portugal, Belarus is facing Greece while the hosts will clash with Latvia, Friday, in the Quarter-Finals.
In the Classification Round for 9th to 12th place, Germany will play Norway and Denmark will face Bulgaria.
In the Classification Round for 13th to 16th place, England are still perfect after the win with Switzerland, 54-36.
They are followed in the standings by Luxembourg who crashed Austria, 85-56.
