At the beginning Brno did very well in the defense. Due to rebounds under both baskets and exact shooting, Brno led after 17 minutes 34:23. But after a few blocks and turnovers, Kaposvari made 7 points in a row.
After they changed sides, both teams fought more with their own aiming than with the opponents. Brno increased its three-point advantage in the last two minutes of the third quarter when they draw ten points away. The Hungarians tried to keep the Czech advantage short, but didn't suceed because of their bad shooting.
The best players on the Hungarian team were Balasz Simon and Stojan Ivkovic - together they scored 30 points. The best appearance in the home team was made by Petr Benda who made 17 points and 21 rebounds.
