Rosi Sanchez of FIBA Europe League outfit Ros Casares has returned to Italian basketball by joining Coconuda Maddaloni.
Sanchez is the third player to leave the Spanish giants this summer, following the departure of Agatha Nnindjem to Celta and of compatriot Amaya Valdemoro, who has signed for Russian giants Samara.
The 30-year-old guard Sanchez played in the 2003-04 campaign with Italians Caserta Basket before returning to the Liga Femenina with Casares.
A lethal long-range shooter, Sanchez retired from international duty with Spain last month.
She was a member of the famous Spanish side at the women's 2003 Eurobasket which came back from a double-digit deficit against Poland in the bronze medal game to win and qualify for the Olympics.
At the Athens Games, she helped Spain finish reach the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, Ros Casares have extended the contract of Spanish international Noemi Jordana for another campaign.
The 24-year-old guard is currently involved with the national team in preparations for the Mediterranean games.
