TANGO BOURGES TAKE FRENCH CUP
While four seasons might not exactly seem an eternity for most clubs, it certainly felt like that for French juggernaut Tango Bourges who for the first time since 2010 have finally got their hands back on the French Cup.
Her frontcourt partner Emmeline Ndongue is looking to end her illustrious career on a high and she finished her last major final with 14 points and six rebounds.
There was however a losing conclusion at Villeneuve for Belgian star Emma Meesseman who signed off her time with the club by adding 13 points in defeat, prior to heading to the Russian Premier League via the WNBA and Washington Mystics.
Bourges now face Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration in the Championship Finals.

ACCOLADE FOR LAFARGUE
Olivier Lafargue is celebrating being handed the considerable distinction of LFB Coach of the Year for 2014, after leading Basket Landes to their best ever season.
He has gained widespread acclaim after taking the club to the quarter-finals of EuroCup Women and then posting a superb late run during the domestic LFB season.
Masterminding wins against leaders Bourges and also Montpellier, Lafargue was able to catapult his side into runners-up spot, moving above both BLMA and Villeneuve.
MEDVESCAK MAKE HISTORY AFTER STUNNING ZAGREB
There was a party long into the night in Medvescak as the club landed its first ever Croatian Championship by taking down EuroLeague Women competitors WBC Novi Zagreb to complete a 3-1 series success.
In a real team effort which had nine players making significant scoring contributions, Medvescak claimed a memorable 69-61 victory and the most important in their history.
It had initially looked like the visitors would force a deciding fifth game after a bright start, but they were eventually left reeling from an upset, with only Eva Komplet rising to the occasion with 13 points.

Hot on the heels of their Adriatic League title and Serbian Cup success, Radivoj Korac can now add an inaugural Serbian Championship to their honours roll in what has been a terrific and landmark campaign.
