French champions Tango Bourges breathed a sigh of relief after claiming their first EuroLeague Women success of the season with a comfortable 85-49 victory against HAT-AGRO Uni Gyor.
After falling to three losses in their first three games, Bourges made light work of despatching the Group A underdogs with two powerful middle quarters.
The Hungarian visitors threatened to be a really pesky opponent, when a three-pointer by Joslyn Tinkle brought them to within a point at 17-16.
But, even though they couldn't find any accuracy from the arc, Bourges were able to use their muscle under the basket to take the game out of reach.
Bourges head coach Valerie Garnier watched on intently as her players outscored Uni Gyor 46-16 either side of the break, with Endene Miyem and Marianna Tolo both dominating in the paint.
The former recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, whilst Tolo also accumulated 16 points.
Bourges were directed as usual by Celine Dumerc and the FIBA Europe Women's Player of the Year walked off the court having dished up 10 assists.
Courtney Vandersloot top scored in the game with 25 points for Uni Gyor.
