Rivas Ecopolis avoided a third straight defeat in EuroLeague Women Group A after securing a precious 74-62 victory at Tarsus Belediye to get their bid to make the post-season firmly back on track.
With the game locked early in the second quarter, a decisive run by the visitors up until the half-time interval broke the game open and the Turkish hosts couldn't recover.
When Amaya Valdemoro scored for Tarsus to level the scores at 20-20, there was little to suggest her former club would soon streak away and take a valuable double-digit lead at 37-27 into the locker room.
But, they stepped on the accelerator and once they did get their noses in front, they rarely looked like relinquishing control - and especially the way they were controlling the glass.
It was only when Delisha Milton-Jones fired a rare three-pointer midway through the fourth quarter to make it 65-59, that the home side briefly looked like they may be capable of instigating a turnaround.
But, their hopes faded quickly as Rivas finished the second half as they did the first, with a powerful run, this time scoring nine points in a row to settle any nerves and dismiss the possibility of a third consecutive loss.
It was a mixed night for Valdemoro who top scored with 21 points but had to stomach seven turnovers and taste defeat, whilst several Rivas players shone brightly.
Queralt Casas showed her qualities with a terrific seven steals, Aneika Henry harvested a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds and Anna Cruz poured in 22 points.
