"We knew VŠ Praha is a good team, we saw them playing good games against Partizan and Dynamo Moscow at home. We had a serious preparation, we didn't want to underestimate anything and we were sure it would't be an easy game. Moreover our player Murphy arrived from the USA only a day before while Lisina was ill for some time and didn't practise with us and we were still playing without our key point guard. It really was a tough game, for a long period we weren't able to play our game and we didn't score so many points because we are still incomplete."
Petr Treml, coach VŠ Praha:
"We played a very good game against Dynamo, a team probably expected to be among the top four [in this competition], maybe even be first in the EuroCup. We performed well, but we made too many turnovers. We weren't as consistent in rebounding as we wanted and Dynamo utilized its stength under the basket."
