A superb shooting display from Natalia Vieru headlined a powerful performance by Sparta&K M.R. Vidjone who chalked up a comfortable 74-56 road win at Uni Györ to stay unbeaten in EuroLeague Women Group A.
The 23-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Good Angels Kosice, justified the decision to bring her back into the mix with an outstanding 19 points which were accrued via 8-of-9 floor shooting.
The visitors were on top pretty much from tip to buzzer, posting a 17-4 run either side of the first and second quarter break to move 34-18 ahead, and facilitate the early use of cruise control.
Only Vieru wasn't interested in slowing down and taking her foot off the gas. She fired 11 points during a terrific third period which stretched the lead out at one stage to 62-35 after one of her baskets.
The hosts outscored their opponent 14-4 during the last six minutes of the game to limit the damage just a little bit, but they were thoroughly outclassed by the former four-time champions who gave healthy minutes to their entire roster to fully showcase their strength in depth.
A miserable 1-of-11 from three-point range didn't help Uni Györ with Krisztina Raksanyi one of the few home players anywhere near par on a night to forget for the Hungarian club.
She finished with a relatively efficient 11 points and four rebounds.
