|Torrens believes UMMC Ekaterinburg have the game plan to overcome the injury loss of their top scorer, Diana Taurasi|
The head coach and a player from each team competing in the EuroLeague Women Final Four this weekend in Prague met with media in the event venue, Kravlovka Hall, for a pre-tournament press conference on Thursday morning.
Below is a selection of the quotes from that press conference.
UMMC Ekaterinburg player Alba Torrens explaining how her team will overcome the loss of the injured Diana Taurasi:
"Diana Taurasi is a big loss for us, not just because she is the team's top scorer, but also because of what she creates for the team. But we have an idea and a plan of how to overcome this. We know we just need to play great as a great team."
Nnemkadi Ogwumike on going up against Los Angeles Sparks team-mate Candace Parker when Dynamo Kursk square off against UMMC Ekaterinburg in Friday's first semi-final:
"It is a pleasure and a blessing to be able to play with Candace Parker, she is one of the best players in the world and thinking about playing against her is a nightmare. It is never easy playing against a team-mate, but she makes me better and I think it is enjoyable. We don't have any personal conflicts on or off the court and it is always great fun."
UMMC Ekaterinburg Head Coach Olaf Lange:
"We have already played Kursk four times this season so we have a little bit of familiarity going on. I expect this to be a great battle."
Dynamo Kursk Head Coach Gundars Vetra:
"We are very excited to be here. For a team to be first time playing in EuroLeague Women and to make the Final Four, I think this is not bad for a first season. We are not just here to have fun but to also be successful and I think our chances are just as equal as the other three teams'."
ZVVZ USK Prague home town favourite Katerina Elhotova:
"I am looking forward to this great event. Even to reach the Final Four is already a great experience and I have a great feeling going into it. We will use and exploit what we have already achieved so far in the season. We believe we have what it takes to not only match, but beat Fenerbahce."

Fenerbahce center Tina Charles commenting on her team's EuroLeague Women Quarter-Final Play-Off best-of-three series against arch rivals Galatasaray:
"We are happy to be the club representing Turkey. I think the three games we played against Galatasaray in order to be here have definitely prepared us for anything."
ZVVZ USK Prague Head Coach Natalija Hejkova:
"To be hosting and also playing in the Final Four for the first time makes this a double event for us. We are ready and excited, but we need to make sure we turn this excitement into a positive for us."
Fenerbahce Head Coach Jacek Winnicki, who is currently in his first season with the club:
"Fenerbahce did a great job; they put pressure on my shoulders the first day I arrived with the club to play a scrimmage game. Right now I am really ready, I don't feel the pressure, we have a great team with great players."
