EuroBasket Women champions Russia can now have the option of adding sharpshooter Becky Hammon to their Olympic roster with the American having received her citizenship.
National team coach Igor Grudin had already stated his intention to call CSKA Moscow star Hammon up for the preparation camp and now that can officially take place, Hammon's club side CSKA have announced.

Hammon made five of seven shots from three-point range on Friday and scored a game-high 24 points but that wasn't enough to lead CSKA Moscow to victory against UMMC Ekaterinburg.
Ekaterinburg's win completed a 2-0 sweep of that quarter-final series and put them into the EuroLeague Women Final Four.
CSKA were without the important talent of Olga Arteshina, Russia's all-tournament selection at last year's EuroBasket Women.
Arteshina played all 10 regular-season games in the EuroLeague and in both eighth-finals contests against Halcon Avenida, on February 5 and 8, but did not appear in either of CSKA's quarter-final games against Ekaterinburg.
CSKA have announced that the star player is expecting her first child.
The club has issued a statement which read: "CSKA and Russian national team forward Olga Arteshina is in an off period from sports because of the reason she is going to become a mother soon.
"We congratulate Olga and her family with this happy news and wish her and her baby strong health, and we're awaiting her return to CSKA and to the national team of Russia."
