Jana Vesela has signed a new contract at Ros Casares that will see her remain with the team for another campaign.
The Czech Republic international, one of the top defensive players in the Europe, spent the past two years with the Valencia club.
Vesela averaged five points and four rebounds in more than 23 minutes per contest in the EuroLeague this season.
The 26-year-old has hardly put a foot wrong since arriving in Spain in the summer of 2008.
On the court, the Czech has won the Supercopa, the Copa de la Reina and the Liga Femenina title in each season.
This year, she helped Ros Casares reach the EuroLeague Women Final, which they lost in Valencia to Spartak Moscow Region.
Ros Casares also recently announced that Spain international Nuria Martinez, and former Cras Basket Taranto center Rebbekah Brunson have signed for 2010-11.
Vesela, who will represent her country later this year at the FIBA World Championship for Women when it is staged in her homeland, will play with the Seattle Storm this summer in the WNBA.
Storm coach Brian Agler is very impressed by the newcomer to his squad.
"Vesela has extensive international experience," Agler said.
"I am very impressed by her versatility. She can play the three (small forward), four (power forward) and even five (center) and is well known for being a good defensive player and rebounder."
