Good Angels Kosice stormed to a 70-48 win over TTT Riga in EuroLeague Women Group A.
With a 49-32 advantage on the boards and Charde Houston and Candice Dupree wreaking havoc as usual, the Slovakian giants improved to 5-3 and dropped the Latvian outfit to 1-7.
Dupree finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds and Houston had 19 points and nine boards.
Riga did a good job of hanging around in the first half and went to the break facing a 33-29 deficit.
Houston got the ball rolling for Good Angels after the restart, hitting a shot from the arc on a fast break and then burying a jumper.
Zuzana Zirkova, who also had an encouraging performance for Good Angels with 16 points, four assists and six rebounds, drove a nail in the Riga coffin when she made a three-pointer midway through the third quarter for a 45-31 lead.
Another three by the Slovakia international later in the period extended the advantage to 50-31.
Good Angels pulled away for a convincing win.
Stefan Svitek, Kosice coach:
"In the first half we have more lost balls and we missed points scored from the perimetre. But our forwards made the plays for us. After the break we finally got points from our guards and we tired our opponent with our quick basketball."
Zuzana Zirkova, Kosice player:
"Riga is not a weak team, but we are better. It's good, that we proved it. For a short period they were able to cut our lead, but we came back to secure the game."
Aigars Nerips, TTT Riga coach:
"Kosice are a strong team. They showed individual mastery. They were able to succeed in one on one situations. In the bad moments, Zirkova took it on herself."
