Sara Krnjic is on her first run with the senior Serbian national team. The center has participated in as many as seven Youth European Championships from U16 to U20.
Sara will regularly feature on FIBAEurope.com to share her experiences of travelling and playing around Europe, as Serbia try to qualify for EuroBasket Women 2013 in France.
We are currently in Kovilovo,Serbia. The preparation period for the Qualification Round is coming to an end.
We are three days away from our first game with Montenegro. We have a really young team, with a few experienced players.
The team chemistry is better than I have ever seen in a team or a club I've played for.
|Sara Krnjic and the rest of the Serbian team found the time to do some sightseeing in Berlin|
The first test for our team was in Slovenia, where we spent four days and played three games against their team.
We won all three games!
Our next stop was Germany. We won two and lost one game, but I feel like we were getting together as a team and made a huge progress on and off the court.
We spent the afternoon of our last day in Berlin, saw many interesting buildings and monuments.
And finally after that came the tournament in Belgrade, the Belgrade 2012 Trophy, that we were all waiting for! We came up first!
Since this is my first time playing for the senior national team it was a great honour to play in front of our own crowd!
