Famila Schio battled bravely but in the end were beaten 73-68 by visitors MKB Euroleasing to end their Group A record with an unenviable 0-10 record.
For a long time the Italian-based squad looked like they could sign off a win and with 6:16 to play in the fourth quarter they took the lead when Beathny Donaphin gave them a 55-54 lead.
Ivana Matovic then drained a jump shot to put MKB back in front and from that moment on the visitors never trailed again.
A Matovic free throw and a jump shot from Olexandra Gorbunova made it 59-55.
Katja Munck's jump shot made it a two-point game and then Elisabetta Moro got one of two free throws to bring it back to 59-58.
Matovic for MKB and then Schio's Raffaella Masciadri each grabbed a bucket but then a Gorbunova jump shot and two Matovic free throws made it 65-60.
Masciadri made a jump shot but Honti's three-pointer made it 68-62 to the visitors in the basket that effectively ended Schio's hopes.
Penny Taylor scored a game-high 19 points for Schio and had support from Masciadri (15) and Munck (13).
Gorbunova and Matovic both managed 17 for MKB with the former hauling down a game-high six boards.
MKB finish with a 6-4 record but, despite the brave finish, there has been no reward for Schio.
